Sewing Machine Operator

Experience preferred but will provide training for the right candidate with good work ethic and a positive attitude. Full time 40-hour week; salary/wage rate compensation dependent on experience.

Engineer / Drafting

The Engineer will be responsible for working directly with engineering management to provide any support required for determining the performance parameters and included in the design and development of an aerodynamic decelerator and parachute system. The person in this role will perform computer aided drafting (CAD) and design assignments of proposed engineering and operations related projects, tracks and maintains the records related to those assignments, and carries out general office functions for Engineering.

Maintenance Workers

  • Help with installation, maintenance, and light general repair duties. Some janitorial duties to include emptying trash and recyclables, sweeping, etc. Assist with parachute line and cloth cutting duties.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time.

Rigger

North American Aerodynamics, LLC., based in Roxboro, North Carolina, has an immediate opening for a Certified Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Senior or Master Parachute Rigger. This is an entry level position that will consist of assembling and packing UAV and military emergency parachutes, as well as civilian seat, back, and chest type parachutes. This is a Full-Time position with benefits.

Requirements:

  • Must be a current FAA Senior or Master Parachute Rigger and able to provide certification documentation.
  • Must be willing to relocate to Roxboro, NC or surrounding area.
  • Citizenship – Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person

Quality Control Manager

Ensures the implementation and maintenance of the quality management system as related to the regulatory and certification requirements of the organization. The QC Manager is also responsible for the management of internal and external audits, improvement of quality performance metrics through continuous improvement initiative, activities, and events.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Thorough understanding of ISO 9001: 2015 Certification
  • Superior knowledge of statistical tools and techniques of Quality Management Systems and all Quality Assurance operations
  • Advanced computer skills, specifically in Excel and SharePoint
  • Associates or Bachelor’s (Preferred) or equivalent experience
  • Quality control: 5 years Required
  • Supervising: 2 years Required (Preferred -Textile Manufacturing)
