This role requires a proactive professional who can work independently on-site, read blueprints, and safely operate a variety of hand and power tools.
Responsibilities
Perform general construction tasks including framing, drywall installation and finishing, roofing, siding, and flooring.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution.
Use hand and power tools for carpentry, masonry, plumbing, electrical work, and fixture installation.
Complete concrete forming, rebar installation, metal stud framing, and drywall finishing.
Participate in restoration services such as water damage repair, mold remediation, plastering, caulking, and stucco application.
Assist with fabrication tasks, including cabinetry assembly and custom fixture creation.
Install doors, windows, cabinetry, siding, fixtures, and other structural or finish components.
Safely lift and transport materials, tools, and equipment on job sites.
Maintain a safe and organized work environment while following all safety protocols.
Collaborate with team members to meet project schedules and quality standards.
Qualifications & Skills
Proven experience in general construction; experience with project planning is a plus.
Strong background in carpentry (framing and trim), masonry, roofing, and general building practices.
Proficient with common hand tools and power tools.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
Knowledge of restoration industry standards, including water damage remediation and mold removal.
Comfortable performing physical labor, working at heights, and operating in confined spaces.
Experience with metal stud framing, drywall finishing, tile work, flooring installation, basic electrical and plumbing systems, and HVAC.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project demands.
