North American Aerodynamics is one of the largest manufacturers of parachute and related life support equipment in the world. We specialize in the manufacturing of build-to-print products, typically building equipment to U.S. Government drawings and specifications.

Roberto Montañez is the President and Owner of North American Aerodynamics, LLC. He has a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from Parks College of Saint Louis University and has worked in the parachute industry since 1995. Roberto has experience in the design and integration of parachute and electronic control systems, testing and instrumentation, and computer modeling and simulations. He serves as President of the Parachute Industry Association, is a trustee of the International Skydiving Museum & Hall of Fame, and is also the President and Owner of Butler Parachute Systems, Inc. Roberto is a skydiver and holds a private pilot license.
Linn Long is the General Manager of NAA. He has a total of 25 years of experience in the parachute industry, the last 15 of which have been with NAA. Linn was born in Roxboro, NC where, during the 80s and 90s, there were five parachute manufacturers! He began his career as a sewing machine mechanic trainee and continued to grow and learn until he reached his current leadership position at NAA.
Laura Day is the Production Supervisor and a Sales Representative for NAA’s sports department. She began her career in 1999 as a sewing machine operator and went on to become a trainer and eventually production supervisor overseeing day-to-day production. For the last three years, Laura has also been a member of the sales team. Laura’s knowledge of the parachute industry is extensive.
